“mmf. June? You awake?”

“Oh yeah.”

“hmm?”

Photobucket

“Jesus, June! That’s my new camera. Put it down!”

“Really, Zola? That’s what you come up with? Not ‘hey, I’m in my underwear, put down the damn camera?'”

“It’s morning, I can’t be bothered with such minor details.”

“Please. It’s noon, lazy.”

Photobucket

“Besides, Z, you’ve got quite a bit of updating to do. Now smile!”

Photobucket

“Let’s take this to the deck then my lovelies. It is I, Zola Goth, who has been rather hidden for…forever? Hell, June, I don’t know what to say. I don’t remember Mom and Dad.”

“Just pretend! For the fame, Z, for the fame!”

“Not like anyone’s gonna adopt me now. I’m sixteen!”

Photobucket

“Also it seems you’re an internet pornographer.”

“Shush, June! Embrace the underwear, feel the breeze on your legs!”

“I prefer minis, dear.”

Photobucket

“Well, I will be playing the role of the not-so-exotic-only-white-girl-in-this-rather-exotic-town person today. Also for a long time to come. Let me show you the digs anyway. I’ve been saving up forever so I could start back Dad’s blogging.”

Photobucket

“This set-up is two straight years of work at Mr. Sun’s outdoors shop. With a pillow and some tea for good measure, of course. God, if Mr. Lu saw this he’d split a vein.”

“Not like he even gets up here to mingle with ‘the orphans.'”

“A good thing for now. Let’s be kind to our dear friend Mr. Lu.”

*splutter*

Photobucket

“In fact, yesterday I nabbed a shot of him early. Mean old guy, really.”

“I swear all he does is sit and drink tea and yell.”

Photobucket

“Please, June, he has every right to. Sexy fellow he is, eh?”

“Z. Cut the sarcasm. Sometimes you really freak me out with your Mr. Lu old Chinese man fetish.”

“My what? You’re sick!”

Photobucket

“Aw, Z. Clothes? But we love your bare thighs twinkling in the sun!”

“Go get some tea and shut up, love.”

Photobucket

“Dad’s blog password was actually my name when I guessed at the library yesterday. Pretty insane, huh? Changed it now, but still.”

Photobucket

“Junie, it’s working!!”

“Fantastic. Gonna retitle it something hip and apathetic? Diary of a White Orphan in China who had Totally Famous Parents that got Shot?”

“And you call me sarcastic. Jeez, that was icy cold. I’m keeping it how it is.”

Photobucket

“Intro, I s’pose. I’m Zola Lee Goth. After my parents died, my grandfather refused to take me in and shipped me out here to go orphan it up in China with fifty other girls. ‘Cause you know, girls suck or some weird stupid something like that. I heard about Dad’s blog a few years ago from some travelers, got in at the library, and now finally have all this used technology so I can do it myself. So hey. We’re back.”

Photobucket

“To be honest, I feel if I was still in Bridgeport I’d come here anyways. The air is clean, the trees are beautiful. I’m a bit of a nature geek really.
Hey, June, what time did you say it was?”

“Twelve-thirty. Work in a half hour.”

Photobucket

“ugh, gotta pay for this crappy internet somehow. I’ll just do some introductions to whoever is in the bedrooms.”

Photobucket

“Ooh, fantastic! How’re my three favorite gals doing today?”

“Fine, white-girl.”

“Heh, yeah, fine.”

“…”

Photobucket

“Nothing from ya, Amy? A smile. For the camera, please babydoll. Advertise yourself to all these rich city folk, right? mmf, no way you’re taking my Amy from me though.”

“shh!”

Photobucket

Photobucket

“This is Mei, another super-adorable friend of mine.”

“You’re not actually trying to sell us over to the states are you?”

“God no, they miss out, it’s their fault. If they don’t go after you they don’t deserve you! I just want everyone to meet my girlies!”

Photobucket

“Last and certainly not least, our favorite trouble-stirrer, Ling-y dahling!”

“Mhm. You owe me not to tell Mr. Lu you’ve got this hidden stash of crap up here.”

“A terrible way to welcome the audience, my dear, just terrible! But ugh, fine. I’ll catch you another fish for the tank. Sorry about Scales, by the way.”

“Fine, a fair trade.”

Photobucket

“And so, dear viewers, this is the Lotus House, the orphanage for the under-appreciated awesomeness hanging around here. It’s a beautiful place, minus the owner.”

Photobucket

“Oh no, late again. Paul’s going to kill me. Multiple times.”

Photobucket

“Here’s where I work though. Selling survival whatever to the faraway traveling junkies that I get to envy so much. It’s a cute shop, really.”

Photobucket

“Ms. Goth, I cannot keep covering for you. I mean, I can, you being the lovely young thing you are, but please. I can have plans, too you know.”

“Paul, you sweetie. I promise I’ll make it a week on time, kay?”

“Don’t make promises you can’t keep – I know you.”

“Ouch! Only for two whole years, I’m a very secretive person, thank you very much.”

Photobucket

“Just get to work.”

“Farewell, my lover!!”

“White people. Honestly.”

“Honestly, what? I grew up here buddy.”

“I’m leaving!”

“GREAT!”

;__; I’m at a loss, I was hoping it wouldn’t get so emotional but there really was no other alternative to get this how I wanted it to go.

Great update, darling. I’m sad that they got harshly killed off, but it’s all for the better.
